PieFedDo profiles from other instances get updated?
submitted by
Stefan_S_from_HThis account, on the original page, has changed the avatar, banner, and bio: https://discuss.tchncs.de/u/stefan_s_from_h
When I see it through the eyes of other Lemmy instances, the change arrived (just not a small text change a few hours ago):
https://lemmy.zip/u/stefan_s_from_h@discuss.tchncs.de
https://lemmy.world/u/stefan_s_from_h@discuss.tchncs.de
On PieFed, it still has the old content:
https://piefed.zip/u/stefan_s_from_h@discuss.tchncs.de
https://piefed.social/u/stefan_s_from_h@discuss.tchncs.de
Do changes just propagate slower, or is there a problem?

Slower. It can take up to 24 hours and only when that account sends some kind of activity.
PieFed does a whole lot of things to try to make ActivityPub less ‘chatty’.
A few minutes ago I upvoted 2 comments, and this was enough. Interesting. The PieFed instances now have the current version. The Lemmy instances are a few hours behind.
Thanks!
