Why doesn't the Communities page on piefed.zip exclude blocked communities? (not sure if this applies to piefed.social)

I’m curious if this is an oversight, an intentional design decision, or a bug. If it’s just an oversight, it’d be nice if blocked communities no longer appeared on the communities page; hence why I’m flairing this as both a question and a feature request.

Personal opinion, it makes sense to list all communites whether they are blocked or not because they exist with an indicator that they are blocked.

Most users probably don’t want to see the blocked communities, so listing non-blocked by default with an option to show blocked communities too would be a great feature.

A toggle to switch between hiding and showing blocked communities would definitely be a nice option to have. It’d be better than just hiding blocked communities outright.

Yes, good point.

We already filter out communities if the viewer has blocked the community’s instance so to be consistent we should also hide them if the individual community has been blocked.

A fix will be in the next release.
